NSCS Officer Meeting Minutes October 19, 2006 Present: All officers were present. The meeting was held in the lobby of Forsyth Library. It was called to order at 5:30 p.m. SGA appropriations: Allison, Jeremy, and Celina will be appearing in front of the SGA appropriations committee tonight to request reimbursement funds from the NSCS Summit in July. Take a Campus Leader to Lunch: We took Justin Greenleaf out for Pizza on Tuesday, October 17. The event was a lot of fun and a success! November Meeting: 1. We will hand out Postcards, bumper stickers, and pins to publicize Road Trip Nation. We will try to establish a time we can show the trailer for Road Trip Nation in Cody Commons, as soon as the new eatery is open. 2. Make a difference day took place on October 28th. We need to get totals on who all participated and report Make a difference day as a service activity. 3. November service: We plan to “Feed a family” by purchasing a turkey or a couple and donating it the Hays Community center where it will be delivered to families who cannot afford one. 4. PFCS: Adrienne has contacted the three Middle Schools and it waiting to hear back more information from them. Kennedy Middle School seems very interested in our proposal so things are looking good. *The next general meeting will be at 5:30 on November 2, 2006 in room 201 in Rarick Hall.* Minutes submitted by: Celina Konrade
