 Don't forget to bring condiments for the BBQ. The 2006-2007 calendar year is fast approaching. As such, it is imperative that incoming NSCS officers be able to effectively fulfill their roles. The 2006 Officers' Retreat will prepare incoming officers for their respective duties. Several key changes in the conduction of the FHSU chapter will be announced and discussed at the retreat. The Officers' Retreat will also be a great opportunity for the new officers to socialize and get to know everyone. Key topics that will be discussed at the Officers' Retreat include the following: * Chapter Meeting Days * Member Induction Ceremony * Changes in the NSCS Star Status program (It is our goal to become Gold Star Status for 2007.) * Member recruitment and retention * The possibility of an Active Members Points System (independent of the graduation cords points system) * The implementation of PFCS (Planning for College Success) in the FHSU chapter. The implementation of PFCS is basically essential to achieve any Star Status in NSCS.
